PROFESSIONAL Background:

Rabbi Falik Schtroks was born in London England. He studied at the Rabbinical College in Brunoy, France. Eventually receiving his rabbinical degree - semicha at the Central Lubavitch Yeshiva, in Brooklyn N.Y.

In 1987 he was certified as a Mohel by the Initiation society (founded 1745) and by the office of the Chief Rabbi (U.K.). He interned with many prominent and respected Mohels.

Rabbi Schtroks has earned a reputation for being a sensitive, patient, scrupulous, Mohel.

Personal Life:

After working at Lubavitch B.C. from 1983, Rabbi Schtroks together with his wife Mrs. Simie Schtroks established (in 1996) the Center For Judaism of the Lower Fraser Valley, located in South Surrey - under the auspices of the Chabad Lubavitch International Organization and affiliated with Lubavitch B.C. located in Vancouver and its other branches in the province.

He dedicates most of his time to communal work, interacting with and engaging members of the community. He also gives classes primarily on topics related to the Jewish heritage, and creates social events and programming. Over time, he has had the privilege to positively affect and inspire many hundreds of people.
